We don't know, kittens. We're inclined to support just about anything she wears because we think she's fabulous, but she keeps making it harder and harder to do. We suppose this look was chosen because it's simple, clean, and demure, which is perfect for when your children's movie is opening. But the overall effect here isn't very chic. Because it's all white, she looks alternately like a children's governess or an old school nurse. Nothing wrong with an all-white dress, of course, but something about the proportions and length here give it the distinct whiff of "uniform" from any more than ten feet away.

Get a little closer and you can see the dress has some nice qualities to it. We like the skirt and the detail on the bust. Not so crazy about the semi-sheer part on the back. The button-heavy cuffs are a nice touch. Despite the lack of color, which really doesn't help the dress, we still kind of like it, especially considering it's Zac Posen, whose dresses we have not been inclined to like lately.

But then she paired it with that governess hair and those nude pumps and the whole effect just goes wrong. Bad instincts there on the part of whoever made the decisions. You could zhuzh this dress up and look pretty striking, but the hair, shoes, and lack of any decent jewelry (the cocktail ring is nice, but she really needed some statement earrrings and maybe something around her neck or a brooch) demonstrate that someone really dropped the ball with this outfit. Or should we say OUTfit?

Aren't we cheeky?
