2011 Golden Globe Awards P1

Best red carpet we've seen in a while. Hit it, girls!

Anne Hathaway in Armani Privé Fall 2011
Spectacular, as she almost always is. Love the exaggerated shoulders.

Elisabeth Moss in custom-made Donna Karan
Lizzie wore a jewel tone, y'all! She LISTENED to us! Attagirl! The color suits. She sometimes makes the mistake of choosing dresses that don't travel well, though.

Heidi Klum in Marc Jacobs Spring 2011
Love that she made an unconventional choice. We don't love the hair, though.

Helen Mirren in Badgley Mischka
Queen Helen of Fuckinfantastica hauls out her tits again and we never get tired of looking at them.

Sandra Bullock in Jenny Packham Spring 2011
The dress is okay, but the Agent 99 hair has got to go.

Angelina Jolie in Atelier Versace
Another gal long in need of some color in her life, wearing a color. We think it looks fantastic on her.

Catherine Zeta-Jones in Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2011
It's a bit much, but if ever Mr. and Mrs. Douglas earned a little spotlight-grabbing, this was the night for it.

Kaley Cuoco in Katharine Kidd
Kind of a neutral-colored yawn.

Halle Berry in Nina Ricci Fall 2009
She fills it out and pulls it off, but it feels like she's trying a little hard and frankly, we should never have to say that about anyone who looks as good as Halle Berry does. The matching cuffs are a no.

Olivia Wilde in Marchesa
That's just too much skirt for anyone who isn't royalty.

EDIT: She's really not royalty, guys! Look it up.

Jennifer Love Lewitt in Romona Keveza Spring 2011
Pretty, if a little safe.

Helena Bonham Carter in Vivienne Westwood
There's bringing the crazy to the red carpet and then there's beating you over the head with it. Still, we can't help but love the mismatched shoes a little.

Julliane Hough in Marchesa Resort 2011
We like it. The collar makes it, obviously. Should've worn the turban.

Christina Hendricks in Romona Keveza
It fits her well and she's a redhead who can wear reds, but why does she always seem to insist on big ruffles or flourishes over her boobs? They really don't need any help. Not loving the hair.

Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2011
It's a little religious cult from the waist up, and the blandness of the color works against it, but we like the shape - again with the accentuated shoulders - and the overall feel of this. Put it this way: it doesn't make us cringe and we can't always say that about her choices.

Emma Stone in Calvin Klein
This looked a little more dramatic on television. Here, she looks washed out. Definitely could have used some showier jewelry. Although, given her hair color, we don't think this dress quite works.

Piper Perabo in Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011
Those are some mighty red lips. The one thing we don't like - the shoulder bow- is the only thing that gives it interest. It fits her well, though, and it's dramatic in an understated way.

Jane Krakowski in Badgley Mischka
Don't love matching the eyeshadow to the dress, but other than that, she looks fine.

Tilda Swinton in Jil Sander Spring 2011
She is more than likely going to get slammed for this, but we loved it for being both unconventional and otherwordly weird, which is pretty much Swinton to a T.

Natalie Portman in Viktor & Rolf
Horrible. Shockingly bad. She looks like a Valentine's day cake from a supermarket bakery. We are convinced this dress tastes like cheap sugary icing.
